There comes a time in life when a holiday without children is required and at holidays-2 we strive to help you find such a holiday. Up until now the only way to try and avoid being overrun by kids was to pay a premium and stay at one of the top five star hotels but this in itself was never a guarantee of a child free holiday. The Canary Isles sit just over 70 miles west of the north African coast and offer visitors year-round sunshine with average temperatures in the low to mid twenty's every month of the year. The four main islands in order of size are Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria. Each island offers something different with the southern coast of Tenerife being the popular for those seeking a lively holidays. Fuerteventura is still developing and is renowned for its great beaches which are great for windsurfing. Lanzarote is middle of the road and caters for all but Gran Canaria is more up-market and better suited to the 30 plus age group. Flying time from the Uk is around 4 hours.
